Grassington Town Hall

Grassington, North Yorkshire, BD23 5AQ

Grassington Town Hall stands at the top of the cobbled Market Square in Upper Wharfedale, at the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The stone-built hall serves as both community venue and focal point for Grassington Festival, one of the Dales' most respected arts events.

The first-floor main hall seats 80 and features fine views over the village rooftops to the surrounding fells. A ground-floor meeting room accommodates 25. Both spaces are heated and well-maintained, and a kitchen serves the upper hall. The Town Hall hosts regular events including concerts, talks, and film screenings.

Grassington is the main settlement in Upper Wharfedale, with a good selection of pubs, cafes, and outdoor equipment shops. Linton Falls and the stepping stones across the Wharfe are a short walk south. The Dales Way long-distance path passes nearby, and the limestone scenery of Malham Cove and Gordale Scar is within easy driving distance.

Skipton, with its castle and railway station (Leeds in 40 minutes), is 9 miles south. The Dales Bus network provides seasonal services.
