Corfe Castle Village Hall

Corfe Castle Village Hall sits beneath one of England's most dramatic castle ruins — the shattered towers of Corfe Castle rise above the village on a natural chalk ridge, creating a skyline recognisable across Dorset. The village of grey Purbeck stone cottages fills the gap in the Purbeck Hills.

The hall seats 65 in a well-maintained space on East Street, with a kitchen and accessible facilities. It serves a community that swells significantly with tourists in summer — the castle, the Swanage Railway heritage steam line, and the Isle of Purbeck's beaches draw visitors year-round.

The Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site is a short drive south, with beaches at Studland, Swanage, and the famous Durdle Door within easy reach. The Purbeck Hills provide excellent walking, and the village is on the Purbeck Way long-distance path.

Wareham station is 5 miles north with services to Bournemouth and London Waterloo. The Swanage Railway runs from Corfe Castle station to Norden and Swanage. A National Trust car park below the castle provides parking.
