Broadclyst Victory Hall

Broadclyst, Devon, EX5 3JR

Broadclyst Victory Hall stands at the heart of one of Devon's most picturesque villages, just six miles northeast of Exeter. Built in 1921 to commemorate the end of the First World War, the hall has been thoughtfully modernised while retaining its distinctive red-brick charm and high ceilings that make it a sought-after venue in the Exe Valley.

The main hall accommodates up to 120 seated guests or 180 standing, making it an excellent choice for wedding receptions, milestone birthday celebrations, and community fundraisers. A well-equipped kitchen with commercial-grade appliances allows caterers to work efficiently, while the stage area at one end is perfect for live music, theatrical performances, or presentations.

Broadclyst itself is a National Trust village, with the magnificent Killerton House and its parklands just two miles away — a popular spot for pre-event photographs. The village pub, The Red Lion, sits directly opposite the hall for guests seeking refreshments. Free parking for approximately 30 vehicles is available in the adjacent car park, and the hall is fully wheelchair accessible with adapted facilities.

Regular bus services connect Broadclyst to Exeter city centre, and Junction 28 of the M5 is only three miles away, making the hall easily accessible for guests travelling from further afield. Local community groups benefit from reduced hire rates for regular bookings.
