Wickham Community Centre
Wickham, Hampshire, PO17 5AL
Wickham Community Centre is a modern facility serving this historic Hampshire village with one of the largest village squares in England. The centre on Mill Lane provides flexible spaces that cater to the growing community's needs.
The main hall seats 100, making it one of the larger village venues in the Meon Valley. A second hall seats 40, and a committee room provides intimate meeting space for 15. All rooms are available for separate or combined hire. The centre has a fully fitted kitchen, sprung flooring in the main hall, and ample storage.
Wickham's annual Horse Fair, held on the square every 20th May, dates back to the 13th century and draws thousands. The village has good shops, pubs, and restaurants along the square and Bridge Street. The Meon Valley Trail, a cycling and walking route along the disused railway, passes nearby.
Fareham station is 5 miles south with services to London Waterloo, Southampton, and Portsmouth. The M27 is 3 miles south. The centre has a large car park with 50 spaces.
