Alresford Community Centre

Alresford Community Centre is a well-equipped modern venue in one of Hampshire's most attractive Georgian market towns. New Alresford is famous for its watercress — the Watercress Line heritage railway and annual Watercress Festival celebrate this heritage — and the town's broad streets and colourful facades create a welcoming atmosphere.

The centre on The Dean offers a large main hall seating 90 with excellent acoustics, plus two meeting rooms seating 20 and 12. The main hall's sprung floor makes it popular with dance groups and fitness classes. A modern kitchen with commercial equipment supports catering for larger events.

The Watercress Line runs from Alresford to Alton, offering a unique arrival experience for event guests. The River Itchen, one of England's finest chalk streams, flows through the town's water meadows. Winchester, Hampshire's county town and former capital of England, is just 8 miles west.

Alresford is on the A31 between Winchester and Alton. The centre has a car park with 35 spaces. Winchester station provides regular services to London Waterloo.
