Hingham Lincoln Hall

Hingham Lincoln Hall is named for the town's historic connection to Abraham Lincoln, whose ancestors emigrated from this Norfolk market town to Massachusetts. The memorial hall, built in 1932, stands on Church Street near the impressive St Andrew's Church, whose tower is visible for miles across the surrounding farmland.

The main hall provides a practical, well-maintained space seating 75 with a small raised platform at one end. It is popular with local fitness groups, dance classes, and for private hire celebrations. The hall's modest but functional kitchen makes it easy to cater for events, and the recent addition of double glazing and modern heating has improved comfort significantly.

Hingham's Georgian Market Place is one of the finest in Norfolk, and the town has a good selection of pubs, a bakery, and independent shops. The town sits 14 miles west of Norwich in attractive rolling countryside, making it a peaceful setting for events away from the bustle of the city.

A car park behind the hall accommodates 20 vehicles. The hall has step-free access at the main entrance and accessible toilet facilities.
