Aylsham Town Hall

Aylsham, Norfolk, NR11 6EL

Aylsham Town Hall is a Grade II listed Georgian building dominating the Market Place of this attractive Norfolk market town. With its elegant portico and assembly room, the Town Hall has served the community since 1857 and remains one of the most distinguished venue hire spaces in the Broads area.

The first-floor assembly room is the hall's showpiece: a grand space with tall windows, original plasterwork, and a capacity of 100 seated. The room's proportions and natural light make it exceptional for wedding receptions and formal dinners. A ground-floor meeting room seats 30 for smaller functions.

Aylsham sits at the southern gateway to the Norfolk Broads and is the terminus of the Bure Valley Railway, a narrow-gauge heritage line running to Wroxham. Blickling Hall, one of Norfolk's grandest National Trust properties, is just a mile from the town centre. The town's Monday market has traded since the 13th century, and independent shops and cafes line the Market Place.

The hall is in the heart of town with public car parks within 100 metres. Norwich is 12 miles south via the A140, and Cromer is 13 miles to the north.
